Home compostable means your own compost heap, not the council green bin — that runs at a different temperature. No compost heap? They go in general waste, and it's still a better material than plastic fibres.
Unscented here means genuinely unscented. A good starting point with a puppy: if there is a reaction, at least you know it isn't the fragrance.
