Dog Rocks

For the yellow patches in your lawn

Your dog pees on the lawn and a week later there is a yellow circle with a green ring around it. That comes from the nitrogen in the urine, not from anything you are doing wrong. Dog Rocks are pieces of natural stone you put in the water bowl.

It's your lawn and it's your dog. You'd like to keep both.

  • You count the yellow patches every time you walk into the garden.
  • You've considered a separate corner for her, and you know it will never work.
  • You don't want to choose between the grass and the dog.

Why we sell this

We run a dog daycare ourselves. Everything in this shop goes to our own dogs too — and what doesn't work for us, we don't sell.

Supplements are not miracle cures, and we won't pretend otherwise. We list what is in it, how much of it, and when you should call your vet first.

How to give it

  1. 1 Rinse and soak for at least 10 hours Before first use. After that they are ready.
  2. 2 In the water bowl, 2 litres maximum For a bigger bowl, use a second bag.
  3. 3 Replace every two months There is a sticker in the pack to write the date on.

Good to know

Dog Rocks work through the water your dog actually drinks. If there is a water butt outside, a pond, or a second bowl without stones, he will drink from those just as happily and you will notice little difference. Make sure this is his main source of drinking water.

Does he take the stones out? Put them in a jug with a maximum of two litres of water in the fridge and top his bowl up from that.

The stones do not change the acidity of the urine. They are safe when used as directed.
