Sound familiar?
- Your dog is nowhere near tired after the walk
- Your garden is small, but your dog wants to sprint
- He chases anything that moves
Some dogs are nowhere near done after an hour's walk. With the flirt pole your dog chases the lure for ten minutes: sprinting, turning, braking and grabbing. You don't need a big field for that. A small garden is enough.
It is made for dogs with lots of energy and chase drive, like herding breeds, terriers and sighthounds. They get something to go after, and you decide when the game starts and stops. Practise “take it” and “drop it” straight away, and every round becomes a bit of training too.
The 82 cm pole is stainless steel and unscrews into two parts. The handle is non-slip rubber. The fleece lure is replaceable and machine washable.
Please note: not for puppies under 12 months or dogs with joint problems. Always supervise play.
Tested by our own dog
No studio shots. This is our own dog in our garden in Wassenaar, with exactly what you are buying here.
Why we sell this
- We see it every day at the daycare: a dog with a strong chase drive and nothing to chase will go and find something himself. The flirt pole gives him an outlet, and keeps you in charge.
