With a wire coat, most shampoos do exactly the wrong thing. They soften the hair, and the coat loses the texture it's supposed to have — along with some of its weather resistance.
This formula cleans and feeds without stripping that texture out. The coat stays firm to the touch and combs out well.
For wirehaired dachshunds, schnauzers, border terriers, airedales and wire fox terriers.

How to use it
Lather, rinse thoroughly, let dry. Don't use a conditioner — it softens the hair, which is exactly what you don't want on this coat.

Good to know
Wire-coated breeds are usually hand-stripped rather than clipped. Don't wash too often — with wire hair, less really is better. Every two to three months is enough for most dogs.
