Sound familiar?
- Your herding dog wants to work, even after the walk
- Fetch bores him within five minutes
- You want something that works his head and his body
Treibball is football for dogs, with a twist: your dog pushes the ball with his nose and chest to wherever you want it. For a herding dog it is herding work without sheep. For any other dog it is a proper workout.
The best part is that your dog has to think. Where does the boss want the ball? Pushing, steering and listening at the same time asks more of him in ten minutes than an hour of running loose.
The ball is 45 cm across. A sturdy Oxford fabric cover with a zip goes over a PVC inner ball. It arrives deflated, so you inflate it yourself at home.
Tested by our own dog
No studio shots. This is our own dog in our garden in Wassenaar, with exactly what you are buying here.
Why we sell this
- Our herding dogs at the daycare want to steer something. The herding ball gives them exactly that: not sheep, not cyclists and not children, but a ball.
