Wipes get what you can see. For what sits deeper you need liquid — it spreads through the whole canal and loosens what's stuck.

This one is water-based with aloe vera, lavender oil, chamomile and grapeseed oil. A mild formula with no alcohol, so it doesn't sting. Coconut scented, which is considerably nicer than most ear cleaners.

237 ml goes a long way. Six months or more for most dogs.

How to use it

1. Gently tilt your dog's head to one side. 2. Apply into the ear canal, or onto a cotton pad. 3. Let your dog shake his head — that spreads it properly. 4. Wipe away excess liquid and loosened dirt with a cotton pad. Regular maintenance: once or twice a week. Heavily soiled ears: two to three times a day until clean.
