Does your dog push every slider the right way straight off? With Louvre that doesn't work. The sliders move in different directions, so he has to work out which way to push.

Louvre is the biggest Pawzler piece. It takes six spots on the base board and has eight hiding spots. Fill them with treats, kibble or a little peanut butter and let your dog get to work with his nose, tongue or paw.

Louvre is level 3 and is also part of the Smarty Set. The piece is 18 x 12 x 4.5 cm, blue, made of 100% polypropylene in Europe and can go in the top rack of the dishwasher.

Please note: no base board included. Louvre works on the Pawzler base board or the board from a Pawzler set.

How to play

  1. Fill the compartments

    Put treats or kibble in the eight hiding spots under the sliders.

  2. Start half open

    Leave a few sliders half open the first time, so he finds something quickly.

  3. Move the piece

    Put Louvre in a different spot or facing a different way on the board.

Playing and safety

Always supervise play. Louvre takes perseverance; if your dog gets frustrated, leave a few sliders half open or put the piece away for a while. Pawzler is not a chew toy. Take the puzzle away once everything has been found, check the sliders regularly and stop using a damaged piece.

Do I need a base board?
Yes. Louvre takes six of the twelve spots on the Pawzler base board. The board isn't included, but every Pawzler set comes with one.
Is Louvre suitable for a beginner?
Better not. Louvre is level 3. Let your dog practise with simpler sliding pieces like Zhu (level 1) or Kaya (level 2) first.
How much can I hide in it?
Louvre has eight hiding spots. Enough for a small handful of kibble or little treats.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
Yes, in the top rack. Give it a quick rinse with warm water afterwards.
