Which ball, which launcher?

Pick the ball by the size of your dog first, then the launcher that fits it.

  1. 1

Choose the ball by the mouth

The ball must be far too big to swallow. In doubt between two sizes, take the bigger one.

  2. 2

    Get the matching launcher

30, 45 and 63 cm are for M balls, 35 cm for S and 66 cm for L. A longer launcher throws further.

  3. 3

    Play short and often

Ten minutes of fetch is enough. Let your dog drink and rest afterwards, especially when it's warm.

Questions

Which ball size does my dog need?

Choose a ball that can't fit entirely in the mouth. M suits most medium dogs, L or XL suits large dogs. In doubt, size up.

Does every ball fit every launcher?

No. A launcher is made for one ball size: 35 cm for S, 30, 45 and 63 cm for M and 66 cm for L. Each ball says which launcher fits.

Can my dog chew on the ball?

A ball is for fetching, not for chewing apart. Put it away after play and replace it once pieces start coming off.

How do I clean the balls?

With warm water and a little soap. The Dog Comets bucket has holes in the bottom: put the balls in and rinse them in one go.
