A round ball rolls in a straight line. After three throws your dog knows exactly where it is going and the game is effectively over.
This one is shaped like an American football. It bounces unpredictably, rolls off in any direction and makes your dog watch rather than remember. You also throw it further than a round ball.
Soft foamed polymer: light in the hand, gentle on the teeth, and it floats.
