Not every dog swims well. Some breeds simply aren't built for it, and even a Labrador tires if he's out too long or the current turns against him.

This vest keeps him afloat with firm buoyancy panels along the sides, and the handle on the back is the reason you buy it: with it you lift a wet thirty-kilo dog out of the water or over the side of a boat in one movement. Without a handle you're trying to haul a struggling dog up by his harness, and that doesn't work.

Wide padded straps under the belly, reflective detailing, and at 430 grams lighter than it looks.

Why we sell this

• Firm, well-shaped buoyancy panels
• Handle on the back for lifting
• Wide padded belly straps
• Adjustable attachment straps
• Reflective details
• Just 430 g
• 5 sizes (XS–XL)

Use & safety

Measure your dog's back length, from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Between two sizes, take the larger — a vest that pinches hinders swimming.
