The problem with a solid winter coat is that it restricts movement. On a dog running through woodland, a stiff coat twists sideways and chafes under the front legs.
The Windy has 4% elastane, so it moves with him. Thermally lined, so warm, but with the freedom of a softshell rather than the stiffness of a raincoat.
A good choice for active dogs and for sports where your dog needs to stay warm between runs.
