It's pouring, the walk was short, and your dog is looking at you with the ball in his mouth. Throwing a rubber ball indoors often ends with a thud against the cupboard. The Chuckit! Indoor Ball is made for exactly this moment.

The outside is soft, frayed chenille fabric. Underneath is a light foam core, the Bounceflex Core. The ball bounces a little, just enough for indoors, rolls almost silently across the floor and lands softly against walls and furniture. Its several layers help it keep its shape, even after long play.

The ball is 12 cm across. According to Chuckit!, it's ideal for small dogs and puppies.

How to play

  1. Find a clear spot

    A hallway or room with some space and nothing breakable at floor level.

  2. Roll or throw low

    Roll the ball across the floor or throw it low, and let your dog bring it back.

  3. Wind down calmly

    A few rounds is enough. Put the ball away afterwards.

Playing and safety

Chuckit! actually calls it ideal for small dogs and puppies. The ball is light and soft, so your dog can pick it up well. It won't fit a ball launcher: you throw or roll this one by hand.
Indoor Ball or Indoor Shaker?
The Indoor Ball is round with a gentle bounce, for fetch around the room. The Indoor Shaker has a nylon strap for grabbing and shaking, and for a short game of tug.
Can it go outside?
It's made for indoors. Outside, the fabric gets wet and dirty. For outdoors, a rubber ball like the Ultra Ball is more practical.
