It's been raining for days and your dog has energy for a week. Throwing a rubber ball indoors isn't a good idea. The Chuckit! Indoor Shaker is soft enough for the living room and has a strap your dog can bite and shake.

The outside is soft chenille fabric, with several layers of soft material and foam underneath. That makes it light yet sturdy, lets it land softly against a wall or cupboard and roll almost silently across the floor. The nylon strap makes it easy for you to pick up, or to turn it into a short game of tug.

The Shaker measures 11.5 x 13 x 20 cm. According to Chuckit!, it's ideal for small dogs and puppies.

How to play

  1. Make some space

    Move breakables and pick a hallway or room with a bit of running space.

  2. Throw low

    Toss the Shaker low across the floor and let your dog bring it back.

  3. Shake and swap

    A short shake or tug on the strap, then “drop it” and throw again.

Can it go outside?
It's made for indoors. Outside, the fabric gets wet and dirty. For outdoors, a rubber ball like the Ultra Ball is more practical.
