Does your dog solve every puzzle before you've even sat down? Then the Genius Set is the next step. Here one move isn't enough. First unlock a slider, only then lift the lid. First open one drawer, only then the other.

You get a base board with Maya, Nai, Sela, Piper, Bunny and two Peach pieces. On Sela and Piper your dog has to unlock a slider before he can lift the lid. Bunny has two lids and two drawers that have to open in the right order. Maya combines a lid with a drawer, and on Nai he pushes a lever. The Peach pieces slide over other pieces and lock them. Together they make 14 hiding spots.

You set the difficulty yourself. Take the sliders out of Piper for an easier start, or place Peach so it blocks another piece. Every piece is interchangeable with other Pawzler sets.

The set is made of 100% polypropylene in Europe and can go in the top rack of the dishwasher. Size: 24 x 18 x 6 cm, weight 0.6 kg.

How to play

  1. Start with open lids

    Take the sliders out of Piper and keep Peach aside for now.

  2. Add the locks

    Put the sliders back once he has worked out Piper, Sela and Bunny.

  3. Let Peach block

    Place Peach next to a piece with a lid. Slid open, it locks that piece.

Why we sell this

  • At the daycare we see dogs that crack a new lock within a few days. What keeps them busy for longer is a sequence: first this, only then that. The Genius Set has several pieces that work that way.

Playing and safety

Always supervise play. At level 3 your dog sometimes needs a moment: let him search, but help if he gets stuck or starts chewing. Pawzler is not a chew toy. Put the puzzle away once everything has been found. Keep a close eye on the small pieces, like Peach: check them after use and replace a damaged piece straight away. Single pieces are sold separately.

Questions

Is the Genius Set right for my dog?
If he already solves the Beginner Set or the Smarty Set with ease, yes. If he has little puzzle experience, this is too much at once. Start lower, so he doesn't get frustrated.
How do I make Piper easier?
Take the blue sliders out. Piper then works like four separate little lids, just like four Zoey pieces. Put one or two sliders back once your dog has got the hang of it.
What does Peach do in this set?
Peach has a sliding lid and is slightly taller than the other pieces. When your dog slides it open, it moves over the piece next to it and locks it. That makes the whole layout harder.
How does Bunny work?
Bunny has two lids and two drawers. The lids always open. The drawers only open in the right order: one stays locked until the other has been pulled out.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
Yes, every piece can go in the top rack. Give them a quick rinse with warm water afterwards.
