Lots of dogs love the crackle of a plastic bottle. The Chuckit! Super Crunch puts that sound into a tough ball: it crackles and crunches as your dog plays and fetches. That makes him curious and keeps him in the game for longer.

The crackling part sits safely inside. According to Chuckit! it doesn't wear out with play, so the ball keeps on crackling. The outside is tough TPR in dark blue, easy to spot on the grass.

You get two size M balls (Ø 6.4 cm). They fit all Chuckit! M launchers of 30, 45 and 63 cm.

How to play

  1. Let him hear it

    Squeeze the ball close to your dog so he hears the crackle.

  2. Play with two balls

    Throw one and show the other. Swap as soon as your dog comes back.

  3. Put them away

    After play the balls go away, so your dog doesn't chew them on his own.

Why we sell this

  • At the daycare we see how dogs react to a crackling sound: ears up, and they want to know where it's coming from. This ball makes use of that, without you having to hand over a plastic bottle that can break into sharp pieces.

Playing and safety

Always supervise play. Choose a ball that doesn't fit entirely in your dog's mouth. The Super Crunch is a fetch ball, not a chew toy: put it away after play. Check the balls regularly and replace them as soon as they show cracks, holes or loose pieces.

Does the crackle stop after a while?
Not according to Chuckit!. The crackling part sits safely inside the ball and doesn't wear out with play.
Which dogs is size M for?
Chuckit! recommends size M for dogs of about 9 to 27 kg. The ball must never fit entirely in your dog's mouth. If in doubt, choose a bigger ball.
Why two balls?
One to throw, one to swap. Many dogs let go more easily when a second ball is ready, and you have a spare straight away if one disappears into the bushes.
Can my dog chew it?
No. It's a fetch ball. Don't leave your dog alone with it, and take the ball away if the rubber tears.
