Some dogs chase a ball three times and then call it a day. A squeak often changes that. The Chuckit! Ultra Squeaker is a tough rubber fetch ball with a squeaker, so your dog stays in the game.

The squeaker is moulded into the rubber instead of sitting loose inside the ball. Otherwise it does what you'd expect from a Chuckit! ball: it bounces high, floats and is easy to spot in blue and orange. The textured surface makes it easy for your dog to pick up, and the rubber rinses clean in seconds.

There are four sizes: S (Ø 5 cm), M (Ø 6.4 cm), L (Ø 7.6 cm) and XL (Ø 8.9 cm). The S, M and L fit the Chuckit! Sport launcher of the matching size.

How to play

  1. Spark his interest

    Squeak the ball a few times before you throw.

  2. Throw and call

    Throw the ball and call your dog back as soon as he has it.

  3. Swap for a reward

    When he lets go, reward with a treat or straight away with a new throw.

Why we sell this

  • At the daycare we see that a squeaky toy often brings dogs who've switched off back into the game. In this ball the squeaker is moulded into the rubber rather than loose inside. We think that's a sensible choice for a toy that spends a lot of time in a dog's mouth.

Playing and safety

Always supervise play. Choose a size that doesn't fit entirely in your dog's mouth, and size up if in doubt. It's a fetch ball, not a chew toy: don't let your dog chew it on his own. Replace the ball as soon as it shows cracks, cuts or loose pieces, or if the squeaker becomes visible.

Questions

Which size suits my dog?
Chuckit! recommends S up to about 9 kg, M from 9 to 27 kg, L from 27 to 45 kg and XL from 45 kg. The ball must never fit entirely in your dog's mouth. If you're between two sizes, go for the bigger one.
Can the squeaker come out?
The squeaker is moulded into the rubber, not loose inside the ball. That's safer than a loose squeaker. Even so: take the ball away as soon as it has a crack or the squeaker becomes visible.
Does it float with the squeaker inside?
Yes. Squeaker and all, the ball floats, so it can go into the water.
Ultra Squeaker or Ultra Ball?
It's the same kind of tough ball that bounces high and floats. The Ultra Squeaker squeaks, the Ultra Ball doesn't. If your dog responds well to sound, take the Squeaker. If you need an XXL, there's only the Ultra Ball.
